1. Pasta stations are a great choice for receptions with children. Most kids like pasta, but don't allow them to go to the station alone. Not only are spills bound to happen, but the items on and near the station are very hot and can cause injuries.
2. Pasta stations, like all "action" stations need attendants so you will be charged an additional service fee by your caterer.
3. Pasta cooks up more than what it looks like it will. A budget saving tip is to serve the pasta in smaller bowls or on smaller plates. That way, you can stretch your dollars a little more.
4. Let's face it- pasta is one of the messiest foods around. If you're having an ultra formal affair, a pasta station is not the best choice. Guests don't want to walk around with sauce stains, or have to immediately put their clothes in the cleaners after your wedding.
